NEW ROCHELLE LIGHTNING HOCKEY CONTINUES TO GROW!

New Rochelle Lightning Hockey has entered two Squirt, two Peewee, two Bantam and one Midget team into the Hudson Valley Hockey League (HVHL) for the 2016-17 season.  Mite teams will be evaluated at a NYSAHA sponsored jamboree in September and will then be placed into the most competitively appropriate divisions.

Midget - For players born in 2000 and 2001, the New Rochelle Lightning Midget team will be skating approximately 4 times per week. Most weeks will include games on Saturday and Sunday with practice two weeknights. This team is enrolled in the HVHL Midget division.

Bantam - For players born in 2002 and 2003, the New Rochelle Lightning Bantam team will be skating approximately 4 times per week. Most weeks will include games on Saturday and Sunday with practice two weeknights. This teams will be enrolled in the HVHL Bantam A and B divisions.

PeeWee - For players born in 2004 and 2005, the New Rochelle Lightning PeeWee teams will be skating approximately 4 times per week. Most weeks will include games on Saturday and Sunday with practice two weeknights. We have both a Peewee A team and a Peewee B team enrolled in HVHL.

Squirts - For players born in 2006 and 2007, the New Rochelle Lightning Squirt team will be skating approximately 4 times per week. Most weeks will include games on Saturday and Sunday with practice two weeknights. This teams will be enrolled in the HVHL Squirt A and B divisions.

Mites - For players born in 2008 or later, the New Rochelle Lightning Mite teams will be skating approximately 3 times per week. Most weeks will include a game on either Saturday or Sunday with practice on the other weekend day and one weeknight.

Intro to Hockey/Learn to Skate - Open to all children ages 4 to 10, this program meets Sunday mornings to give children a comfortable environment to fall in love with the game! When possible, additional ice time may be offered. The children will be divided on the ice both by skill level and age.
